Hong Kong’s naturally a four season country. Visitors will find that Hong Kong possesses four different so called personalities during each season. It is often quite cold during the winter, although it doesn’t usually snow as the temperatures fall to about 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, in contrast, summer in Hong Kong is very alike other parts of South East Asia, hot and humid.

At average, the temperature around Hong Kong is about 25 degrees Celsius. The best weather would be about late March and April when Spring is about to end. The year end promises a lot of great event with Christmas coming about among the chilly winter. As Christmas is celebrated with a lot of fanfare, it makes Hong Kong a great place to celebrate this memorable event.

In the middle of the year, around June and September, typhoons are a common norm. most people here are very much accustomed to this and are always ready to seal their windows to expect the worst.

The best time to visit Hong Kong is around the months when it is neither too hot nor too cold. That would be somewhere around October and November. During summer, humidity is a big problem and can get extraordinarily hot at times. Therefore if one is not a big fan of heat and the chilling cold of the winter, the two months are the best time to come.

However for those who would like to experience the festivals here, February is the best time as Chinese New Year is celebrated then. The weekend stretch of Christmas and New Year is a great time too.
